Who are you?
        
Focus Training is a specialist Training Consultancy in Ireland, with 10 years experience designing and delivering highly effective in-house training. Our strength lies in our ability to achieve real results - in terms of a high level of transfer of learning to the workplace. We do this by working in very close partnership with each of our clients and by doing the groundwork to ensure we design the right training programme on each occasion.

The Company was founded in 1998 by Kate Tammemagi. Kate has an MA in psychology and is a Member of the Institute of Training and Development. She has a background in Magazine Publishing where she was Editorial Director, Sales Director, Publishing Director and Managing Director.

Kate brings her real world experience to the training room and is known for her practical, coaching style approach as well as her total focus on achieving a successful result for all.

Customer Service Training
Kate Tammemagi, of Focus Training, is now recognised as the Telephone Skills Specialist in Ireland. She has designed fully customised Customer Service Training Courses in a wide variety of organisations - in both the Public and the Private sector.

From basic foundations in Customer Service to advanced Call Handling training courses in very challenging situations, she has the practical experience and training ability to ensure real improvement.
      
Leadership Development Training
First-line Management is another of our specialities, training courses for Team Leaders, Supervisors and new Managers. Again, each programme is designed so that it is pitched at the right level for this group, and the content is totally relevant for them. We ensure lots of practice and role-play, with coaching from our experienced trainers.

Gráinne Madden is our Leadership specialist. Grainne has an MBA from the Smurfitt Business School and 10 years hands on Management experience. She has trained and consulted for a number of indigenous and multi-national companies, many in the IT and Financial Services sectors. Participants in training facilitated by Gráinne frequently comment on her enthusiasm and the positive interactive learning environment she creates. As well as her training and consultancy work she lectures on Corporate Responsibility to International MBA students.

Telephone Sales Training
      
With a background in Publishing, where she was a very successful Sales Director, our specialist Telephone Sales trainer is second to none in Ireland. She is the only Telephone Sales Trainer who will coach your Team members on THEIR REAL calls on their Telephone Sales training course. With lots of tape recording and play back, they quickly improve their focus, skills, motivation and performance.

We have the telephone sales and training experience to design a fully customised training course for any level, from new recruits to experienced sales personnel. We have also worked extensively with Cross Selling in a Customer Service environment.
      
Call Centre Training
We now have built up a wealth of experience in Call Centres of all kinds in Ireland. Training and Consulting in all our specialist areas - Team Leader Training, Customer Service Training, Telephone Sales training and Handling Escalated Calls has equiped us to help with your CSRs and Team Leaders.
