Time Management & Personal Effectiveness
      

This is a 1 Day in-house Time Management training programme - to give your Leaders the focus, systems and tools to be more effective in their role.

They will learn the principles of Time Management - how to take the overview of their whole role; how to plan, prioritise and make good decisions; how to work ‘effectively’ vs. ‘ineffectively'.

Working ‘effectively’ vs. ‘ineffectively’ – reactive thinking vs goal focussed thinking - short term gain vs long term; focussing on activities rather than achievements; Time stealers & tips on how to avoid them; Managing 'self' effectively, working with my strengths & planning how to improve other areas

Effective Self Management- Prioritising effort and actions; The big picture - business objectives & priorities; The Priorities Axis - the Urgent vs. important; The Effort to achievement ratio - evaluating effort vs. payoff; Finding better ways of doing things – personally & with the Team
Accountability Tracking Tool - 'Prompt sheet' method for reviewing our whole role on a weekly / monthly basis - an essential tool for keeping our eye on all aspects of the role.
Effective Goalsetting - the importance of goals & visualising success; Planning strategies to achieve goals; Working with ‘self’ to ensure goal achievement; Celebrating success.
How to build the Planning habit –Personal Planning Meeting; Planning goals, tasks actions & activities for the week; Using our Tracking Tool for overview; Scheduling & prioritising goals, tasks & actions; Reviewing previous week & evaluating effectiveness; Learning points for the future; Planning what to improve this week; Doing by the day - 'to do list'
Effective decision making – Identifying the goal, generating options, evaluating options, planning the strategy, generating actions, reviewing outcome
